The Second Grade Class of Platte-Geddes does a service project in the City Park every year. Some of those projects include: a fire pit with the game Jenga, raised garden beds for the elderly who live in and around Geddes, flower barrels, tire game, window art, tree mural, and a pond with a water fountain. Every year, they paint and clean up the park for everyone to enjoy!
