The City of Geddes is a hidden gem located in south central South Dakota. Our community offers a unique blend of small-town charm and modern amenities. We pride ourselves on our thriving businesses, friendly people, and strong sense of community. Our main staples are agriculture and ranching, which have sustained our community for generations. The organization owns, operates and maintains the Geddes Multi-Purpose Center. The MPC is available for rent for events, family reunions, parties, etc as well as exercise equipment, pickleball, basketball, and walking which is all available at a monthly fee. Learn more here!
The organization owns, maintains, and rents the two Governor houses on 6th Street. Currently both are occupied.
The organization sponsors several yearly fundraisers, helps with lots and housing for individuals, and encourages local businesses with short-term loans, advertising, and other promotional information.
